C, N, and O abundances in some CP stars We present the results of C, N, and O abundance analysis in theatmospheres of 7 CP magnetic (Si) and nonmagnetic (Hg-Mn) stars. Thevisible lines of CII, NII, and OI were used for the analysis. The mean Cand O abundances are nearly solar, with a significant dispersion fromstar to star, while N is overabundant in the atmospheres of all magneticstars. This result does not agree with that of other works, where theauthors obtained a deficiency of C, N, and O elements by using lines ofneutral C, N, and O in the infrared. Possible reasons for such adiscrepancy are discussed.
