Absolute proper motions of open clusters. I. Observational data
Mean proper motions and parallaxes of 205 open clusters were determinedfrom their member stars found in the Hipparcos Catalogue. 360 clusterswere searched for possible members, excluding nearby clusters withdistances D < 200 pc. Members were selected using ground basedinformation (photometry, radial velocity, proper motion, distance fromthe cluster centre) and information provided by Hipparcos (propermotion, parallax). Altogether 630 certain and 100 possible members werefound. A comparison of the Hipparcos parallaxes with photometricdistances of open clusters shows good agreement. The Hipparcos dataconfirm or reject the membership of several Cepheids in the studiedclusters. Tables 1 and 2 are only available in electronic form at theCDS via anonymous ftp to cdsarc.u-strasbg.fr (130.79.128.5) or viahttp://cdsweb.u-strasbg.fr/Abstract.html

Two-colour photometry for 9473 components of close Hipparcos double and multiple stars
Using observations obtained with the Tycho instrument of the ESAHipparcos satellite, a two-colour photometry is produced for componentsof more than 7 000 Hipparcos double and multiple stars with angularseparations 0.1 to 2.5 arcsec. We publish 9473 components of 5173systems with separations above 0.3 arcsec. The majority of them did nothave Tycho photometry in the Hipparcos catalogue. The magnitudes arederived in the Tycho B_T and V_T passbands, similar to the Johnsonpassbands. Photometrically resolved components of the binaries withstatistically significant trigonometric parallaxes can be put on an HRdiagram, the majority of them for the first time. Based on observationsmade with the ESA Hipparcos satellite.

Further observations of stars in the open cluster NGC 5460
New photoelectric UBV photometry in the open cluster NGC 5460 ispresented for 155 stars brighter than 14.0 mag. In addition, sixcomparatively bright red stars in the cluster field were observed in theDDO and Washington systems. Nearly 40 percent of the observed stars arefound to be members or probable members. The analysis of the new datayields E(B-V) = 0.12 +/- 0.03 and V(0) - M(v) = 9.34 +/- 0.20 (740 +/-68 pc) for the cluster reddening and true distance modulus, respectively. An age of 1.1 x 10 exp 8 yr was derived, which places thiscluster within the NGC 2516 age group. NGC 5460 does not probablycontain any red giant.
